Mike's Stance on the Issues
"Fiscal Responsibility to Madison"

Accomplishments:
*Supported a budget that erased a 3.5 billion dollar deficit without raising taxes, without using budgeting gimmicks, and without laying off Wisconsin public employees.

*Supported voter ID legislation that ensures integrity is put back into our elections.

*Supported concealed carry legislation that allows law biding citizens to protect themselves and their families from criminals.

*Supported and voted for various bills that will assist our state’s economy, by reducing regulations and red tape that have stood in the way of growth for years. A smaller government will give Wisconsinites the greatest opportunity of success.

*Introduced legislation that assists Wisconsinites who currently receive unemployment benefits looking for employment, by giving them onsite job training opportunities.

*Introduced and supported legislation that would give city of Milwaukee employees the opportunity to chose where they want to live.

Future Goals:
*As your representative I will work to overhaul our state’s welfare system to ensure that it will not be abused by able bodied citizens. We must do all that we can to ensure these programs are used only by those who truly need it and not by cheaters.

*Wisconsin currently owes the federal government 1 billion dollars due to unemployment loans. As a state we must do all that we can to lower Wisconsin’s unemployment rate  and this can be done by giving job seekers proper training prior to entering  the workforce and giving job creators incentives for expanding and taking on new employees.

*I feel that citizens can make better decisions with their own money than the government and it is my goal to work towards a broad inclusive tax decrease for all taxpayers to ensure consumer power is put back into the hands of Wisconsinites.

*I will work to expand Assembly Bill 65, which focuses on the residency requirement for Milwaukee employees. I believe all citizens should be able to chose where they wish to live, which is currently not an option for thousands of citizens in Wisconsin. Home rule truly begins at the home.

*Creating jobs is my top priority next session and reintroducing a mining reform bill is very important to the greater Milwaukee Area and Wisconsin as a whole. Thousands of jobs were lost and millions of dollars of revenue have gone to the wayside due to environmental lobbyists. As you know, two of the world’s largest mining equipment manufacturers are located near Milwaukee and the passing of mining reform legislation is imperative to job growth in the 84th Assembly District.

Remember to vote for Mike Kuglitsch on November 6th. Thanks for your vote!
